Dimilin 2L is an insect growth regulator. Dimilin 2L effective on a wide variety of insect pests, predominately from the families Lepidoptera (also known as butterflies/moths) and Diptera (also known as flies) on cotton, soybean, and rice crops, plus rangeland and controls Peach Twig Borers (PTB) and other pests on almonds and tree nuts.

Insecticide Dimilin 2L protects rangeland and other non-Crop areas such as fence rows, roadsides, field borders, farmsteads, wasteland, ditchbanks, and Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) land from Mormon crickets and grasshoppers. As less material is necessary to provide adequate pest control growers also appreciate the low environmental impact of Dimilin.
