Extinguish Plus contains an IGR, S-methoprene, and an adulticide, hydramethylnon, to both kill adult fire ants and stop the queen from laying eggs. The insecticide control starts from the day you broadcast the bait. The insecticide is strictly not to be used on active pastures. It is good for lawns, etc. Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait is for the control of ants, including fire ants on lawns, recreational areas, golf courses and other non crop/non grazed areas broadcast at the rate of 1 pounds per acre. Extinguish plus Fire Ant Bait works to kill adult ants, including fire ants within 24 to 72 hours of ingestion and uses the insecticide Hydramethlnon. Extinguish Plus has active Ingredients of Hydramethlnon 0.365%: S-Methoprene 0.25% .
