Green Sand

Green Sand is can be used for metal casting. The fertilizer can be simply put as a mixture of sand, bentonite clay, and a bit of water. Green sand is mainly formulated from potash and a hydrated silicate of iron. The fertilizer is a natural mineral that opens up tight soil and binds the loose soils. The fertilizer releases the nutrimental benefits through an exchange action in the soil which is there to be taken up by the plants. The product contains about 3% total potash, along with iron, silica, magnesium and as many as 30 other trace minerals. Green sand may also be used to loosen heavy, clay soils.
