Illoxan 3EC is used for post-emergent control of goosegrass (silver crabgrass) in bermudagrass turf. On application of Illoxan 3EC, young actively growing goosegrass plants are more easily controlled than larger plants.Avoid applications to turfgrass under stress due to lack of moisture, chemical injury, insects, disease, or temperature extremes.The addition of a nonionic surfactant at 0.25% by volume improves the control of goosegrass under less than optimum growing conditions.
