Maxforce Fire Ant Granules (a.i. - Hydramethylnon) is Ant bait in small pellet granular form. This is normally used to eliminate ants but also works for roaches and crickets. Maxforce for fire ants is actually used to control a variety of ants including: Acrobat, Argentine, Big Headed, Carpenterant, Cornfield, Field, Fire ant, Ghost, Harvester, Odorous House Ant, Pharaoh and Thief ants. Use 1 ounce per 1800 square feet. Broadcast your Maxforce fire ant bait in areas where ants go looking for food (lawns, flower beds, etc.) instead of dumping them on mounds. "Mound dumping" usually causes the ants to stop feeding while moving away from your bait.
