Herbicide Simazine 4L is only applied before the weeds emerge or following removal of weed growth. The product controls a wide variety of annual broadleaf and grass weeds when used at selective rates in agricultural and ornamental crops. The herbicide has 4 pounds of Simazine per gallon. The herbicide enters weeds mainly through their roots; moisture is needed to move it into the root zone. It also provides pre-emergent control of many annual broadleaf weeds and grasses in agricultural and the ornamental crops. The herbicide is over the rooting area of trees or ornamentals not listed on the product label.
