Timbor is soluble in water and classified as a inorganic borage salt with insecticide AND fungicide properties that is very effective against wood-destoying insects AND since borate is natural, Timbor is even a green pest control product! Timbor works well on several wood destroying insects including:

• Subterranean termites
• Dry wood termites
• Damp wood termites
• Carpenter ants
• PowderPost Beetles (False PowderPost Beetles, Furniture and Deathwatch Beetles, Old House Borers, Longhorn Beetles,and Ambrosia Beetles also included.)

TimBor is sprayed or brushed on to the surface of lumber, timbers, OSB or plywood. Since Timbor is slow-acting, termites that have fed on treated wood build up the active ingredient and still move around back the rest of the colony. The transfer of food from workers to nymphs, soldiers and reproductives will also spread the ingested Timbor. Timbor treated wood is not the first choice for feeding; therefore foraging termites avoid all wood that has been treated with Timbor. In addition, the Timbor powder used as a borax dust in wall void treatments or in injections into cracks is toxic to termites killing even more!
